Blog Problems?

I had a worrying email from blogger last night informing me that this blog 'Has been identified as a potential spam blog' - apparently I must request a review or they threaten to shut this blog down in 20 days. Has anyone else had problems like this?

  1. Yes - they thought Hen Heaven sounded rude I gather! I contacted them, it was viewed by a 'real' person and the threat removed. You don't think it was the tit boxes do you?

  2. Sounds like a scam. I would verify with blogger without using any links from the email you received.

  3. Never. Is the email from a blogger you are familiar with? It sounds like a con or hoax to me.

  4. This seems fairly common - there's an article about it here: http://www.bloggernews.net/117011. A bit odd, though, the way it works (maybe it was your post about the great tits!!

  6. Have not had a similar problem but I would be wary of this email which sounds as if it could be spam itself. Perhaps you could contact Blogger help with your question.

  7. Sounds like a scam/virus-if you were to get something it would be from Google/Blogger itself, not another blogger.

  8. I have had my posts spammed. Can't remember what they call it, it has a term. Someone took my post and published it on his spammer blog. Funny thing was, he is also the same person who sends me tons of spam comments, that I never publish.

When I wrote to Google and asked for help I was reprimanded for publishing his URL. And then accused of being a spammer myself.

For the next little while I was expecting to be shut down due to his actions, but so far nothing has happened. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Here's hoping that you get it all figured out, I agree with not clicking on those links.
