Multicultural Chickens!
Welcome to our two new multicultural chickens! They live in the diverse and colourful area of the London Borough of Brent in a delightful.... area called Cricklewood. Ladies and Gentlemen.. I give you...Chicken Patty....
and Chicken Joloff!
Both were bought at point of lay, and both have now started laying small pingpong balls!!.. well done girls!
I'm trying to get up the gall to one day have some chickens. I just don't know what I'd do if a snake got into their pin or if some crazy neighborhood cat decided it wanted a challenge.
Gorgeous girls, both of them. Fresh eggs, woot! I'm thinking about having a few chickens too.
BTW Tara says woof. She's in heat at the mo the poor widdle thing and not feeling quite herself. Hormones do wreak havoc in a widdle doggywog, she far less happy that usual. Oh well, it will pass.
What handsome girls. Or can girls be handsome? I bought my three hens as adults also. I didn't want the nuisance of raising chicks and wanted instant eggs.
I love chickens! They're adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely girls! Congrats on the eggs.
ReplyDeleteYour chickens are beautiful! Chicken fever is contagious. My sister (in law)got a chicken and then I got one for my daughters. Chickens are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThey are both very good looking! We just acquired a flock of six chicks that we are enjoying thoroughly.

ReplyDeleteThey're beauties. I would love to keep chickens but our house deeds don't allow it, and nor are we allowed to keep them on the allotment.
