Some Sad News

I'm afraid I lost my lovely Buddy this afternoon. He went to sleep peacefully on his bed at home. The time was right and I am at peace with that. I have nothing but happy memories. I felt it was right to bring Matron out from behind the keyboard just this once to share my favourite photo. Buddy had just won the James Bond K9 007 fancy dress competition at the RSPCA fundog show at Pinewood Studios. Our proudest moment. Thank you all for your kind wishes.

So,so sorry to hear this. It's never an easy time when you lose someone and to lose a beloved doggie companion is just as hard. I still miss all of my old doggie friends that have sadly departed - all the way from childhood up to having my own dogs as an adult but I like to think of them all running about together up there in Doggy Heaven having a whale of a time! As many bones and balls as they could every wish for up there!!

    Rest In Peace Buddy

  52. So sorry Matron we loved reading about Buddy.
We too are sad because our older golden retriever Tara died in January she would have been 15 soon.
Tara and Niki always had their photo on your Doggy Day Blog.
We and Niki still miss her.
    Peace be with us all.
