Matron grows vegetables and fruit in a Hampshire garden. I've been growing veggies since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Some traditional varieties and old favourites as well as new ideas. I share my garden with my allotment assistant Daisy the Labrador. On Twitter as @MatronsVeggies

Yippeeee!
There's life in the old dog yet! Leo enjoying a game of snowballs in the garden this morning. What a set of gnashers!
Wow look at that mouth...nice catch with the camera Matron! I'm sure that's got to be a winner in a dog photo competition somewhere!
I finally got my chives (all 3 bunches) repotted in the same pot! Planted spring onions and green leaf lettuce...now I need more containers...time for a trek to the thrift store. I told Mr. Bangckik I'm going to have me some "lady fingers" this year...I'm not paying the outrageous prices the grocer asks for...for a pitiful looking handful of the "fingers". And of course, later, I'm going to plant a cherry tomato!
Fantastic how the snow brings out the 'inner puppy' even in our older dogs!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see someone enjoying the snow. Sunny here today, frost gone, rain last night.
ReplyDeleteOur doggy house guest was ages exploring the garden last night. We watched her standing gazing about her. She came in a bit like a snowball herself.
ReplyDeleteGreat action shot.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic photo!
ReplyDeleteHaha! What a great photo!

Great shot, Matron.
ReplyDelete(Our dog no longer does this as sadly he has gone blind recently. First sign - he stopped catching the ball in the park)
Great photo, I think your dog is showing off! I also think that photo should win a competition. Some change in weather huh!
ReplyDeleteThat's a kodak moment. I bet you couldn't get a shop like that again if you tried :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun while you can! Great photo!
ReplyDeleteYay good to see Leo enjoying life. Thinking of buddy too at this time, chuckled at both of you in your 007 get up.;-)
ReplyDeleteFabulous shot Matron and what a fine set of teeth!
ReplyDeleteI found a snowball in the chicken run this morning - they must have been playing!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a picture taken from a new Jaws movie at first!
ReplyDeleteMatron- what a great picture. I admit, I turn into a little kid just like Leo when it snows. ENjoy your bit of Winter!
ReplyDeleteCaptain Shagrat - yes thank you for your thoughts. A memorable day today.
ReplyDeleteFab piccie :-) Mel xx
