Grow Your Own!

I've just been down the garden in the rain and picked a handful of Purple Sprouting Broccoli for lunch. Salmon pie is in the oven, you just can't beat growing your own!
PS. Leo is at the vet today, having an operation.  Will post picture with obligatory lampshade on his head when he comes home!

    beautiful purple Broccoli! hope Leo is home by now or soon...ah yes the "lamp shade"...most of the dogs I've known always looked so confused about having the thing around their neck and in their field of vision! some destroyed the thing within seconds of having it on! Baron sends Leo a comforting "Woof"!

    The broccoli looks fantastic and the salmon pie sounds just wonderful.

    As for Leo...those lampshades...it was only recently I found you can buy them, same shape but softer and easier on the pets neck. Hope he is okay.
