Russett Apples

Whilst walking through the orchard at Brogdale, our guide just picked apples and pears and cut them up for us to try. The Russett apple has the most wonderful flavour and texture.

Looking through the gardening magazines this month, there are many apple festivals around in the next few weeks. 800 varieties of apples will be on display at Brogdale. That's some fruit bowl !
