About Me
- Name: Matron
- Location: Hillingdon, London, United Kingdom
I was born 20 yards from our allotment. My parents used to 'dig for victory' and never got out of the habit. I grew up on an allotment, so growing veggies is a way of life. I am also qualified as a dog behaviourist and I have set up my own business, www.blackdogdna.com

Brilliant, Matron! Well done - and yes, Leo is a very lucky chap indeed!
No I can't imagine that! He certainly has fallen on his feet to find you
What a lucky boy and gorgeous with it x
I'm so pleased you stepped right back in and gave another dog a loving home (Buddy would be proud too).
Leo's tail says it all!

So nice to see an older dog find such a loving home.
Wonderful! I'm so glad you could give Leo a good home. Buddy would be proud.
That is so great!! I'm tearing up a little bit...our first Airedale was 'Leo'. I think all Leos ROCK!!

He's darling! How lucky for him that you brought him to live with you. Can't wait to hear more about him.
Welcome Leo...what a handsome Lab you are! So happy for you and Leo Matron!
Peggy - what can I say? He's a Labrador.... he eats anything!
Welcome Leo. I'm sure we will be seeing more of you.
Excellent news Matron, and a big welcome to Leo, you've got nothing but joy and happiness ahead of you lad, hope you like GARDENING!!!
I'm thrilled to bits for both you and Leo. He's a smasher, I can tell he'll fit right in. How could someone not want such a gorgeous dog?, beats me.
What an absolute darling - he looks extremely sprightly for 11 years old. I confess this is exactly what I wanted to do some months back but Management didn't want to take on another "2nd hand dog" - I wish I had stuck to my guns but it was not the right time for him. Perhaps in another year or too she says wistfully - in the meanwhile I shall enjoy watching Leo settle in and take over your life and heart!
Hi and welcome to the blog world Leo - I'm sure we'll hear lots about you!
Brought a big smile to my old fizzog this morning when I saw your new boy. Happy days...
Leo has some big paws to fill, but he looks up to the challenge. Congrats on you both for finding each other. :-D
Aaahhh..... LOVE Leo!

Leo looks a great dog - has that look of mischief that makes for such fun. Lovely to see a lab that's not overweight. Enjoy!
How could anyone turn away that face! But lucky you and lucky Leo. I wish you many wonderful years together.
Just come across your blog what a lovely thing to do for Leo what a cute face.
