Down on the Allotment

Matron grows vegetables and fruit in a Hampshire garden. I've been growing veggies since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Some traditional varieties and old favourites as well as new ideas. I share my garden with my allotment assistant Daisy the Labrador. On Twitter as @MatronsVeggies

Looking good matron.

My allotment buddy has got grafted tomatoes this year - will be interesting to see how they fare vs my ordinary ones.

I'm sure there was frost last night, despite it being forecast for rural areas only ... after all, how will it know if it's in the city or not LOL.

I love the way a tomato plant smells, too! It is the tomato's way of saying "I'm really good! Take me home with you!"
Happy Gardening!
