Down on the Allotment

Matron grows vegetables and fruit in a Hampshire garden. I've been growing veggies since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Some traditional varieties and old favourites as well as new ideas. I share my garden with my allotment assistant Daisy the Labrador. On Twitter as @MatronsVeggies

Memory

Rest assured I am still here and working on getting my blog back. Thank you for all your suggestions.  I did go back through my archive and reluctantly delete many hundreds of posts in an attempt to lower my data storage levels, but alas it remains at 1GB.  Continuing to resolve the problems.

Your credit card should be able to pay for any currency. If Blogger is asking for US dollars, just go ahead and select okay, and the card company usually converts the currency and bills you in your currency (British pounds). I hope you get it solved soon.

Deleting post won't remove the photos, Matron.

You need to get into the Picasa web album page where the photos are stored and delete the photos from there. If you don't know how there is a link and instructions on my post dated 25 NOvember

BY the way if you doggy blog is under the same account which appears to be the case then the photos from that blog will also be stored in the same Picasa Album

This is now a known problem for Google and they are working on it. You may not have to delete anything.

Hi Matron, I've had the same problem. My solution has been to accept that my blog has become an archive. You then need a second Blogger ID to set up a new blog. Do you have a second email (from a different provider) you can use to set up a new Blogger account?

That's a pain! I've never heard of this until now. Your problem must be that you are posting original sized photos. If you get Picasa(Free) you can shrink the size of all the photos you want to post at once. That's what I do and after checking my limit I have only used 32mb over the years. Let me know if you need any help with picasa - veggyblog@gmail.com
